S.M.A.R.T. Explorer
S.M.A.R.T.
Self-monitoring, analysis and reporting technology (S.M.A.R.T.) is a
technology to protect user data and minimize the likelihood of unscheduled
system downtime that may be caused by predictable degradation and/or fault of
the device. By monitoring and storing critical performance and calibration
parameters, S.M.A.R.T. devices attempt to predict the likelihood of near-term
degradation or fault condition. Providing the host system the knowledge of a
negative reliability condition, allows the host system to warn the user of the
impending risk of a data loss and advise the user of appropriate action.
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer is an application and underlying API that lets you
monitor reliability and performance of S.M.A.R.T. compatible ATA/ATAPI devices
installed on local system and, under certain circumstances, across the network.
The exposed API allows to access S.M.A.R.T. functions easily from a variety of
Integrated Development Environments (IDE).
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer is designed to monitor not only computer's hard
drive. It's capable of monitoring remote hard drives via network through DCOM
technology.
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer is designed to work on Windows patform including
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2K/XP systems. However, some features may not work on
Windows 95/98/Me systems.
Application Programming Interface (API)
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer provides an API to be used through automation. The
availability of Component Object Model object hierarchy allows to use Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Explorer functionality from a
variety of programming languages including Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual C++,
Inprise Delphi and C++ Builder, Scripting languages and other. You will find
object hierarchy documentation in the help file included into installation package.

S.M.A.R.T. Indicator
Adenix S.M.A.R.T. Indicator is an obsolete shell extension. Use
S.M.A.R.T. Explorer application, which
is both shell extension and a standalone application.
Build Incrementer Add-In for Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0
Overview
Once installed, Adenix Build Incrementer Add-in is integrated into
Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 environment and is invoked every time you
perform project build. On each build the add-in locates the resource
script of the project, its VERSIONINFO section, and increments the
build number, ie. the fourth part of the file version. For instance,
if it was 2.0.3.12, the add-in makes it 2.0.3.13.

Proxy Server
Overview
Adenix Proxy Server is a simple free for non-commercial use TCP proxy
server that provides TCP traffic forwarding services. Open ports on
your machine to allow others to access network through your host, eg.
to share Internet connection for LAN users.
Tweak CD Powertoy
Overview
Adenix Tweak CD Powertoy for Windows NT/2K/XP extends Windows shell with
new items in CD-ROM drive context menu. New menu items are "Lock tray" and
"Unlock tray". These allow to lock the CD-ROM drive so that no disc can be
put in, changed or taken out before the drive is unlocked.
Jet Tools Powertoy
Overview
Adenix Jet Tools Powertoy extends Jet (MS Access) database files related options
of Microsoft Windows shell. It adds context menu commands to save database schema
into text file and to compact the database.
